1. What is Yoffi?
Yoffi is an AI-powered project designed to make meal planning, grocery shopping, and nutrition simpler. Right now, we're in the data collection phase, where we gather onboarding data and receipts to train and improve our models.
2. What do participants get in return?
By joining now, you'll:
- Help shape and train the AI system.
- Receive discounted early access to our app once launched.
- Be eligible for reports or insights generated from your onboarding data and receipts during the pilot.
3. Why are you collecting receipts and onboarding data?
Receipts and onboarding information allow us to:
- Understand real shopping behaviour and patterns.
- Train our AI to recognise and categorise products accurately.
- Align grocery baskets with individual goals (health, diet, convenience).
- Improve recommendations for the future app.
4. Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is stored securely on Supabase, with industry-standard encryption, and processed through our platform hosted on Vercel. Only authorised team members can access it. We comply with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy explains this in detail.
5. Will my receipts be shared with anyone?
No. Receipts and personal data will not be shared or sold. Data may be anonymised and aggregated for research and product development, but you will never be personally identifiable.
6. Do I have to pay to take part?
No. Participation is currently free.
7. Can I leave the project and delete my data?
Yes. You can opt out at any time and request that your data (including receipts and onboarding information) be deleted. Contact us at info@yoffi.app to make this request.
8. When will the full app launch?
We're currently in development and testing. Early participants will be the first to gain access when the app is released. While we don't have an exact date, we'll keep you updated.
9. Who is behind this project?
Yoffi is being developed by Catena MBA SDEZC a Cayman-based venture focused on AI, nutrition, and consumer technology.
10. Is Yoffi giving dietary or medical advice?
No. At this stage, we're only collecting data to train our models. Any insights or reports you receive are for informational purposes only and should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
11. How will I know when new features are available?
We'll notify participants by email about new reports, features, or early app access.
